Workshop on Gender Equality in Science for TRR237 Members
We are excited to have Dr. Amma Yeboah lead our upcoming workshop on "Gender Equality in Science – Gender Sensitive Empowerment", which will take place online on Friday, June 27th, 2025 from 9 am - 1 pm via zoom.
The workshop, which is specifically tailored for our senior scientists, will explore how gender-specific (micro-)aggressions impact scientists’ career development, well-being, and mental health. It will encourage self-reflection on how you might contribute to or challenge gender inequality in your own sphere, with the goal of inspiring gender-sensitive leadership. Although the workshop is informed by current gender research and supervision strategies, it goes beyond theory: participants will leave with practical tools to address personal and systemic barriers in their professional environments.
